Some more hardy weeds will not even turn brown. Also check the active ingredient grams per liter Ours are 480g/L. It differs from country to country as well as other suppliers selling it under another name.

The active ingredient in Roundup is Glyphosate and is fairly harmless to humans. I would suggest dilution with water and use an absorbent material such as baking powder or cat litter to soak up the material and sweep up then vacuum the remaining material.
