I think are the frequencies used. I don't have any experience with the Rosen players, but are you sure its supposed to come through the speakers?

As they normaly come with 2x headphones, and speakers are an option extra. I take it you have checked in all pockets under front seats and under rear floor and under center floor for any hidden.

The Rosen A7 should have a built in FM modulator/transmitter... it sends sound on the FM band. It can be tuned in on the radio in the car, and thus you hear sound from the Rosen on your car speakers ( Description ).

It could be the belt on the motor that spins the dvd. Needs to be opened and replaced.

check the fuse boxunder the hood. Use a standerd auto light tester. If there is light its good.

something is jamed inside dvd player or its dirty need disc cleaner.

Dust is a killer to anything that uses a laser to read information, eg... CD's DVD's etc etc. we get at least 3-4 people coming in to the shop a week that have problems with units failing to read CD's. The only thing that you can do with out pulling apart the unit (which can get very complicated) is to use a lens cleaner CD/DVD. you can buy on specificlly made for units that "****" CD's in, or for lid types. i would suggest getting the appropriate one for your needs and running that through a couple of times. afterwards, remove any dust off where the DVD/CD inserts, to stop it carrying it in to the lens. If that doesnt work then you may have to take it to a specialist where they will check for loose connections etc.etc...

there is an addendum in the owners manual of ours on page two saying only with VWs the A7 is not configured to provide speaker sound through the vehicle speakers. helpline number is 019332 732 331. We have a VW touran also and can't get it to work :(

You need to open player manually and take out your CD. You have mechanism proble and need to check and fix.
