See if you can determine where and get to the actual sticky spot. Often I have found that things like this are easy to clean or lubricate as soon as you see the actual place that is rubbing... Looks like it may be tricky to see the lever, but a mirror may help. clean it (even with "goof-off" or something) Then a little wd-40 (on a q-tip if you don't want to make a mess) or mineral oil will probably help. Well first off put it back where it was originally. if that doesn't fix it you've probabple blown the transformer in the power supply and it will needt o be replaced.

I don't see that model, I see a 500 and there is a 2000 but no 5000. The 500 piano is about 400 dollars. Make sure it has no issues with dead keys. The 2000 model is about 1400 dollars.

seems to me this will need more than most people can do. tracking down the problem will require a lot of testing of transistors and such... but just maybe it's nothing more than a loose ground wire on the circuit that powers that side. Good luck.

There is a lot of software on-line (some free) that can convert the most common files to whatever format you want. However WAV files are rather large, also it's difficult to put extra information on them, such as album images. It would be much easier to convert the files to MP3.

Software, download the Owners Manual and get into it.

Nothing ? Or inverted ? If inverted, get into the menu. If NOTHING, probably the jack, you gotta open it and check if the solder to the board is good, that can screw up with handling. Luck..

It seems that when you engage the recording mode, the RC 3 draws too much power and resets itself. Does it work on battery power? If so, then I'd check the power connector for good fit and for corrosion, and I'd check the adapter for proper voltage, polarity and current. Do you have a "PSA series" AC adapter? If not, then check the fine print on the adapter you have for Output, and make sure it's 9V and also that it says 100mA or higher. The Boss PSA can output 500mA and can usually drive 5-6 pedals with the right breakout cable. And I suppose you already have this, but just in case you want to RTFM: Boss RC-3 Manual.pdf 8-)
