Why does my roland mobile cube hum when I plug into it?

If it hums when running on battery power, either your cable from your instrument needs repair, or it's the wrong type (unshielded or TRS) or your instrument has a problem, or you're in an area that has too much RF or electromagnetic interference.

So why is my street cube loosing its charge to fast ? Anybody with same problem...

All rechargeable batteries have a lifespan and they may be nearing their end. It may also be that t your charger isn't putting out what it used to. Best to take it in for repair so they can determine the cause of the problem.

I want to disable the circuit that allows my roland mobile cube to cut out at higher volume. i'd rather it catch on fire than cut out.

lucky you that wants to get burnt disabling a safety feature is NOT the way to go but fixing the fault that wants you to do so is the way to go

Repair for vintage keyboards.

Static is usually the result of a bad connection. I suspect there is a bad solder joint. If you are electronically inclined, use a listening device or oscilloscope and connect it to the volume control terminals if it is not present on the input to the volume control then it is the volume control that is bad which happens in old equipment best solution is replacing the volume control or you can try cleaning it with an aerosol product for this purpose.

I have a Roland HP 236 digital piano, and at random times the sustain pedal sticks, and will sustain even with your foot off the pedal. How can this be resolved?

See if you can determine where and get to the actual sticky spot. Often I have found that things like this are easy to clean or lubricate as soon as you see the actual place that is rubbing... Looks like it may be tricky to see the lever, but a mirror may help. clean it (even with "goof-off" or something) Then a little wd-40 (on a q-tip if you don't want to make a mess) or mineral oil will probably help. Good Luck

I am interested in purchasing a Roland 5000x digital piano which is used an am curious as to the value. What would Be a fair price?

I don't see that model, I see a 500 and there is a 2000 but no 5000. The 500 piano is about 400 dollars. Make sure it has no issues with dead keys. The 2000 model is about 1400 dollars.

My Roland KR-03 Piano has bad static sound on the left speaker. It is also in the headphones.

seems to me this will need more than most people can do. tracking down the problem will require a lot of testing of transistors and such... but just maybe it's nothing more than a loose ground wire on the circuit that powers that side. Good luck.
