Robot coupe Blixer 6 wont

Try removing the four feet on the bottom of the unit. Sometimes appliance makers like to hide chassis screws underneath said feet.

How do I replace the spring on a robo coupe?

Are you referring to the spring in the cutter bowl? You will need to remove the retaining nut. The spring will then come out. the part number for the spring is R1776. Whole assembly part # R242.
Are you referring to the spring in the on and off switch? You will have to replace the switch. If you call Heritage Food Service Equipment, they will be able to fax you a parts break down so that you will know what part is needed. They can most of the time tell you how to replace the parts also. You can contact them at 1-800-253-0200.

Replaced magnetic switch wont turn

Hi there,

This can be a problem on contact with the magnetic switch, it could be not touching did not contact each other so you need to put some force to lock it.

Better check the alignment of the switch if it's properly seated and there was no problem with switch.

Hope this initial info helps.

Kindly let me know for further clarifications.

Robot Coupe clicks, runs 5 seconds, stops for 30 seconds, clicks, runs 5 seconds...

The clicking noise is an internal circuit breaker or motor protector. These things are not made to be bogged down or overfed. The motor is heating up & tripping the overload, after cooloing it resets. Time to buy a new one or get the motor replaced ($600-$800)

Robot coupe maintanance

That plastic piece is a sling disk or sling blade and made to sling product to the discharge chute. Believe it or not, the motor shafts wear out and could be the cause of premature failure. When you install the new sling blade, check to see how much slop/ play there is by moving this back and forth on the shaft, a small amount is ok (1/16th to 3/32nds). The other thing to look at is forcing or overfeeding the unit. You can contact them at Robot-coupeusa.com

Makes humming sound motor will not spin

Did you replace the start capacitor or start relay first ? This is the most common problem & a hell of alot cheaper than a new motor. Did you replace the motor shaft seal (around the shaft on top of the unit ? if not you will be replacing the motor sooner than you need to because the acids from veggies eat these things up & is the main reason why the motors fail, next in line is overloading or forcing product.

Robo coupe CL52D would not turn on

There is a reed swich (safety switch) located on the top where the lid comes down. A reed switch works with a magnet. If the magnet is missing or the reed swictch is bad, no power will be allowed to the motor. Send me your e-mail & I will look up the part # in my Robot-Coupe manual. [email protected]
