Rp 3100 Drum Problem
You can clean it, thats a good idea but,,(and this is messy) roll back the master.. take out the ink cartridge, use a rod to squeeze some ink onto the area, and smooth it out into the screen with a plastic scraper.. Lay the master back over. Keep scrap paper around and print a big black square and run a couple hundred sheets through.. This will work. Messy but will work. If you don't want to manually put some ink on the area.. Print a large black square and run a couple hundred sheets.. see what that does.
Riso rz 220 the code
Hello
Yor cutter unit is not in the home position.
Open the front door, take out the master unit, remove the master material, lift the green handle and look to see if you can see a white plastic knob (that is the cutter) make sure it is to the front of the machine, if its to the back of the machine very carefully move it forward until it wont move anymore.
If it is in the front of the machine then the microswitch is probabally faulty and will have to replace the cutter unit.
Regards

I found a small sliver of a cut master inside the master feed assembly. Once it was removed, the machine worked fine. It was hard to locate, but if you remove 2 gold screws from the top of the master feeder you can gain access to the area.the screws are just below the coil springs for the master assy. lid.
Hc5500 ERROR CODE S03-255
If you are talking about the first paper feed tray.. I had the same problem yesterday.. I had a loose wire.. purple.. on one of the sensors near the back.. wiggle the wires a little.. until the paper tray light is on.. the push button has a light.. I was in test mode and couldn't get the motor to go up and down in test mode either. .. turned out not a big problem.. but if one of those little wires is loose or moved it might not be making a connection ..in which case.. no motor.. If none of these things work you could have something stuck at the bottom.. there's a little microswitch to tell the machine the paper tray is at the bottom.. It's under the tray.. see if that thing is stuck or moves freely. .. Sometimes it's dead spot on the elevator motor.. manually try to move that when the machine starts.. The error comes when the paper tray is supposed to move up to the ready position and it doesn't move..

Asoon as i turn on my copier sereis it displays code p-96-569
This error code means either the print drum color information or ink category information is not input. Easy fix.
Make sure the drum in the machine has ink in it. It must be the correct ink for use in an EZ. Start into test mode by turning the machine on while holding down the left and right arrows for the print position. Hit the "C" key to clear out display. Should read 0000. Type in 590, then hit start. Type in 557, then hit start.
Machine will load information from the ink bottle into the machine and rotate a few times.
Once it stops, turn off and back on to get out of test mode. All set!
