Go to My Computer. Then open the carbon drive, to view the files. Then delete the ones you do not want.

Your lens could be dirty, or the motor that controls the lens may be broken, or come unhinged from the track. If you can find a way to play it while it's open (push down on the sensor button that the lid pushes on with a small screwdriver) turn it on with a CD while it's open, and watch to see if the laser moves. Make sure the laser itself never faces your eyes directly.
If the laser moves, clean it up with a soft cloth that's means for lenses.

you may be able to take apart the player and use a hair dryer to completely dry out screen, diodes, and capacitors. if this does not work it will have to be replaced or repaired by tech who will have to replace screen

try hooking it up to a differrent comp.

If they are paired together by color, you can turn the raido on and hook one speaker up and then use the fade and balance controls on the radio to figure out which wires go to which speakers

this might help cause i know it does with cell phones, just try putting it in a bag of rice overnight.

the socket where card is installed may have internal loose element so its not detecting.check out the card in another device and also check another card in your device.this will confirm the fault.

push a tiny pin in the tiny hole on the top of the player to reset it.

The Rio Carbon is completely incompatible with iTunes (which uses AAC format). It only accepts mp3, wma, and some WAV's. The Rio Carbon is still the best mp3 player I ever owned, but since Rio doesn't make them anymore, it will never be compatible with iTunes. You can use it with Rhapsody's Mp3 Only service, or any music service that gives you the files in mp3 format - but you can't sync the songs through the music service's "synchronize function" - you have to download the files to a location on your computer, and then use the Rio music Manager to transfer the songs to your device.

Hey, try a diffrent cd, if the changer plays other original cds just fine, then its most likely doesn't support the format the cd is in. What program did you use to burn the disc basically everything you can tell me about the burning process you did would be helpful.

u have to upgrade the firmwxare of ur unit u can perform that while downloading the utilty from the main support page .
