How to fine a file once it is downloaded on the

Windows has a 'Search' facility that allows you to find a file whose name include part of the file name(s):
- In Windows XP, the ''Search" facility is available via the (Player) drive context menu (Right Mouse Click) or via 'Start' menu -> Search.
- In Vista or Windows 7, 'Open Windows Explorer' -> enter part of the file(s) to be found in the Top Right Hand 'Search ' box which will immediately start a search on ALL DRIVES under 'Computer'
- If you type .mp3 , it will locate ALL files that contains .mp3 suffix.
ps. Next time you download the a file (which by default WILL NOT BE ON YOUR PLAYER unless you change the 'options' default drive/folder of course), take note to which drive/folder you are downloading it.

I have changed the hard drive to a 16 GB

This i not a possible problem due to the Rio Carbon only accepting a theoretical size of 8GB in a hard drive or CF card. There are no components in a Rio Carbon that could heat to such a high temperature unless you class 30 degrees C as an untouchable degree. If so then you are an idiot.

I turn it on and it says

This means you are currently in the "upgrader mode". Please turn the unit OFF and then back ON. You can download the latest firmware version of your player. Please be advised that downloading firmware update may delete contents in the memory of your player. You can also Flash the memory by removing the batteries, wait for a few seconds, and put it back in.
If this doesn't work, and if the player is detected by the computer, try to reformat the player (this will erase all the information from the player).

How do u delete songs from the mp3

Deleting Files,Pictures,etc from MP3 Player

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

Music won't upload onto my Rio.

I have not been on FixYa for about a 1/2 a year so as I seem to be the only person answering Rio problems I have only just seen your problem... Sorry, so if you haven't bought an iPod yet (or you want to try and fix this anyway) then I would recommend wiping and rebooting your player:

Windows only.... Please post if you are not using windows...

Open My Computer with your Rio plugged in.
Right click on your Rio player and click on format.
Leave the default values - if it asks you something then use your initiative.
Then click on format.
Then when it has finished formatting go to your firmware (can be downloaded from: http://www.digitalnetworksna.com/support/rio/product.asp?prodID=112).
Follow the instructions and then it should load the firmware onto your player.
When it has done then your player should (in theory!) work properly.

Hope this helps

Citroen xsara remote?

I haven't done it but apparently once you replace the battery in the remote you also have to do a 'resync' process (information from cxoc.net forums):

-switch ignition ON
-press and hold lock button for 10 seconds
-switch ignition off
-wait 3 seconds
-synchronisation procedure is complete
-confirm sync. with locking and unlocking the vehicle

My rio forge player is showing "upgrader"

When mine did this it meant the firmware inside had gotten corrupted. It started working again when I reinstalled the firmware. The official firmware is available at the official website, and wikipedia promotes an unofficial firmware that provides more features.

For either of them, plug the unit into the USB port of your computer, then run the utility to upgrade the your Forge.

(Eventually, my Forge's internal memory storage died - it still play music from card memory, but every time I turn it on I have tell it my language is english etc.)

I hope that helps.
