From my own personal research and stuff I have read apparently adobe quit updating mobile android versions of adobe flash. I know kindle 1st Gen are also saying they are up to date yet there is newer pages that are not supported by these devices. So you may just not able to play what does not work anymore. Also may find soon other flash related stuff does not work as content providers start programming for newer versions of flash.. Not much as consumers we can do. But our devices are being forced into non compatability

Go online and make a blackberry account and I'd, go to your used email and confirm activation, then go to your device and try again making sure you have an open wifi connection or the password to the one connecting to. If is software issue then turn device off. Hold both power and volume button for up to two minutes until machine shows a sign then release the power continuing to hold the volume or vice versa on all buttons and may be the home button instead of volume if your device is equipped with such. Could be either volume up or down but not both at same time. This should either factory reset device other put in download mode where the ROM software can be flashed to the device or an alternate software can make your device perhaps into an android device. You need a Blackberry charger. Other chargers might fit in the slot, but won't charge your device. You have to use (buy) a fast charger if your tablet is completely discharged and won't turn on. They're about £20 but worth it to keep using your Playbook.

Buy a RIM Blackberry Rapid Charger. It uses another connection:the one with the three magnetic contacts.

It was about $10 on amazon today. And it charges fast.

I had many problems with my playbook. 1st thing you want to do is hit the power button on top if the playbook is still not on hit the volume up and down at the same time (I do right then left) then push the power button and sometimes it will be on.

More than likely the power cord/charger is dead or the battery is. Bring it to a tech store and see if you can test out a new cord/charger and battery...

Question edited for clarity. You can't. You have to fix the Volume button first as it is the thing that initiates the reset. But you can try the volume Up button instead. Some version of Android will work with either or both Up and Down.
