I have a PS3 and

Hi, All headset devices use a default code which 4 zeros,'0000'.

I guess that will do..
You can pass your comment..

Use this as a guide

Step 1: Set the headset to be discoverable

1. Turn off the headset.
2. Press and hold the headset button for about eight seconds, until you hear the startup tone and then five quick high beeps.

The headset is now discoverable and will remain so for about five minutes. The status light blinks while the headset is discoverable.

Step 2: Turn on Bluetooth on the other device and search for devices

1. On the device, turn Bluetooth on and set the device to search for other Bluetooth devices.
2. On the device, choose iPhone Bluetooth Headset and enter the PIN code 0000.

See the instructions that came with your other Bluetooth-enabled device for more information about pairing it with Bluetooth devices.

Thanks for using fixya............

Need passkey for the hs-655

All bluetooth earsets have a universal passkey which is 0000 or 00000.
That should do the trick.

I have a blackberry 8100.

From what I was able to find, the blackberry 8100 and the BMW bluetooth have connections issues. they same to be mainly caused by the address book. go figure.

you can test this out to see if its the problem by going to the device properties and disabling the address book transfer And see if that seems to do the trick

so you address book needs to be organized like this,

1. No "Groups" in your address book. Your BMW likes 1 big list of numbers.

2. No "letters" or "symbols" in any "Phone Number" field. "-", "(", and ")" appear to be OK though.

Once your phonebook is organized to the car's liking, following the pairing instructions detailed in previous posts and you should be good to go.

If you have a large address book, you can try this option.

Instead, I limit the transfer "by category".
To do this, go to "Options" and select "Bluetooth".
Then pick your BMW (probably "MY-CAR") from the list of paired devices, and select "Full Menu" from the actions list.
Pick "Options from the "Full menu".
The 4th option is "Address Book Transfer". Change this from "All Entries" to "Selected Categories Only".
Then you can pick the option immediately below to select which contact categories you want to transfer.
I just created a new Category in Outlook and added it to the contacts I wanted to have available in the car.
Hope this helps!

Remote funtions on LG HBS200 do not work with Blackberry Tour

When you go into the Tour's Bluetooth options, you can view which services are available for each paired device. Check the headset's properties and make sure all of the available services have a check mark next to them.

If that doesn't solve the problem, let me know and we'll try to find another solution.

Blackberry 8100 bluetooth pairing problem

after you have paired the two devices... the blackberry that is receiving the file has to be in receiving mode.

Go to MEDIA or music icon on your handheld where all of your tones are, hit the menu key and choose "receive using bluetooth" then hit send on the other handheld.

and there ya go !!!

its just another added security feature by RIM to avoid unwanted stuff being transferred .

Changing earpiece

•First take your  device and hold it vertical.
•Looking at the earpiece that ressembles somewhat Alladin lamp, it's tip is positioned either at past 20 (for right ear) or before 20 (for left ear).
•Depending if it's one side or the other, you should turn the earpiece clockwise to 30 or counterclockwise to 30. So the "tip of the lamp", which is the ear channel of the earpiece in fact, is indeed at 30 past the hour.
•Then pull it out with a round motion downward, assuming the upper part is the blue light.
You can then change the side of the ear wire and or the earpiece for a different size supplied by RIM when you bought the device. I don't know how/where to get new earpieces. They don't seem to sell them separately...which is rather frustrating considering the price they sell this device!

How to wire a fridge thermostat

Wiring a fridge thermostat typically involves connecting the thermostat to the power source and the compressor. Here's a general guide for wiring a 3-pin thermostat:
  1. Identify the Pins: The thermostat will typically have three pins labeled 4, 6, and 3.
  2. Connect the Power Source: Pin 4 is usually the common (C) terminal, which connects to the power source. This could be the live wire from your electrical supply.
  3. Connect the Compressor: Pin 6 is often the normally open (NO) terminal, which connects to the compressor. This allows power to flow to the compressor when the temperature rises above the set threshold.
  4. Ground Connection: Pin 3 is commonly the ground (GND) terminal. This should be connected to the ground wire for safety purposes.
