My advance lever is stuck o my Ricoh camera. I had

Your camera is in cocked position with shutter fully cocked and that is why you cannot advance the film advance lever. Set the shutter to x position ( on your shutter speed dial on the right hand side and top of your camera ) . The shutter should release and then you should be able to advance the film advance lever.

Ricoh KR-5 light meter needle won't move, new batteries

About the only thing you can do is clean the batt. cover and contacts in batt holder. Make sure batts are good. No parts are avail. for this model. However this is a rugged camera and you can buy a hand held light meter inexpensive.

Paper pinch roller is having some problem may be there is a paper jam or Cartridge try to remove all papers then remove the ink cartridge pull out the power wait for some time ,put back the paper without ink and paper check if the error is changed if yes replace your ink if still there check for any paper jam clean it all properly and start again.

Scan to email gives server response error.

I've just discovered that Ricoh's built in software only works if your SMTP server sends out without picking up password or authentication.
Having same issue and it worked fine when it was behind corporate firewall with the same connection settings (IP address) as the SMTP server.
Once I changed web hosting - it won't recognize the SMTP server or any authentication methods. According to IKON (Ricoh support for the USA) - your SMTP server has to have "relay exception"

How to reset error sc 582

sc582 is an inverter error. The coil that heats the fuser may be bad, or there may be a bad connection somewhere. If you go into SP mode and execute SP 5810 to reset the fuser, see if the code comes back. If it does, have a Ricoh technician check the IH coil and the connections for it.
