What you're talking about is an AV cable, and yes some newer televisions no longer have AV ports. If you can not find 3 matching colored inputs on the sides or back of the TV, then you may need an adapter. In almost all cases, the television will have an HDMI port. I have attached some AV to HDMI adapters to this post. I hope you figure it out!

Whether or not you can connect a USB gamepad to your TV depends on the specific model of your TV and the type of gamepad you have.
Many modern TVs have USB ports that you can use to connect various devices, including gamepads. If your TV has a USB port and supports input from gamepads, you should be able to connect your USB gamepad to your TV and use it to play games or navigate menus.
To connect your USB gamepad to your TV, you will need to plug the USB cable into the USB port on your TV. You may also need to adjust some settings on your TV to enable gamepad input or to map the buttons on your gamepad to the appropriate functions on your TV.
It's important to note that not all TVs support gamepad input, so it's a good idea to check the documentation or manufacturer's website for your TV to see if it supports this feature. Additionally, some gamepads may not be compatible with certain TVs or may require additional software or drivers to work properly.
