Repair manual For rca Rcd158A The speakers hum when it's plugged in even though it's turned off
That is a sign that the capacitors that filter the power supply ripple are bad. There is no schematic for it but if you have it unplugged and you take it apart, you can see where the power cord comes into the unit and goes to the power supply board. There should be a transformer nearby. There is usually a board that has some semiconductors on it as well as capacitors. The capacitors need replaced.

My new mp3 pearl
The license on the songs that you are trying to download either does not permit transfer to mp3 players - or the license has expired. Use mp3 format songs only, and you will never have this problem. You can read my "Tips & Tricks" article on song formats if you really want more detailed information.

RCA VST 230D, S Record player missing things....
What the picture doesn’t show are the 4 thin color coded wires traveling from the cartridge through the tone arm and down to the amplifier. More than likely your white wire is ground. Your record player (turntable) has a ceramic cartridge. The picture shows a magnetic cartridge. The wiring is basically the same except for ground wire.

Rca rs2650 tray wont open and cd wont play
Remove the CD tray the drive motor and gear is joined by a belt. I used a matching rubber band it works. Most of these drive motors. have a belt for safety. Important to replace the CD tray at the same location for line-up with your CD player drive. If you can get couple manufacturer belts do so. The belt is little tougher than the rubber band. And clean all your moving parts gently .
Voice recording to computer
The RCA5030 comes with a USB cable. You'll need to connect the voice recorder using that that cable to your computer and you should see the recorder appear as another drive on the computer from which you can copy files to and from. The files will be in mp3 format.
Can't record anything new
You can either use the "Digital Voice Manager" (loaded from the recorder when you first plugged it into a USB Port... OR, when you brought up the files in the recorder, clicked on the folder with setup). Or, if you just want to clean out everything from all four (A-B-C-D) folders, you can format the chip. Turn the recorder "on", press and hold "erase" until it flashes, press and hold "record" until it flashes "format", and press and hold "erase". "WAIT" will show on the screen until the chip is formatted, and you now have a clean chip - 128 meg or thereabouts.

Rca rp5120-a
The model which I have has a built-in file that downloads to your PC that installs a program for converting your .voc files into either WAV or EXE. The program can be copied and shared as there is no registration, however it would appear designed to work specifically with this particular device.
I have an RCA Rp5120-a digital voice recorder. I
first bring it in on a pc use the soft ware in the rca recorder then save as a wav because ti is voc file..so now it is a wav file you canplay a wav file if you can't.open it in quictime and save it in quicktime and every plays QT. thank you hope this works
