sounds like the battery hasnt got enough juice to power motor. the battery may of had it depending on the age of battery. check battery charger to see if it is correct amperage, may not be giving full charge.

You cannot operate the scooter while it is plugged in, wait until it is fully charged

mcdevito75 here, There may be a bolt on top of the handle bars you can tighten, or a clamp just under the handle bars you can tighten, this clamp may also be on the shaft just above the wheel.

Make sure battery is freshly charged and is holding the charge would have to test battery with multi metre. If its holding its power then first i would go to the switch that you use to make the motor go.

Check the voltage output of the charger. It should be about 28 volts. Most likely your batteries are dead (over 2 years old?)

First your going to remove the deck.
Take off the chain tensioner
Next remove the motor and put the chain around the gear
Put the motor back on the scooter with the chain on
Then take the rear wheel off and put the chain into the gear.
Put the rear wheel back on along with the chain tensioner and deck
Your done!

Note: the reason why I say you have the remove the motor and wheel is the get the chain on. So you may only have to partial remove the motor or tires to get the chain on.

You probably need a new battery.

There are 3 things that can fold.
The handlebars collapse from the lever on top of the handle bar, that allows each handle to pull out.
The lever at the base of the handlebar allows it to retract.
And the lever at the base of the steering allows the body to fold against the steering shaft.

hi my son has not used the scooter for a while so i went to charge it and the green light comes on the charger straight away and the scooter is not working can you tell me what the problem is?

If the battery is removable. Make sure it is correctly inserted and connected. Also, make sure any on/off switches are turned to the on position, and that you have any battery terminals or cables secure.

Hi... My son hasnt used his Razor E100 for nearly a year as couldnt find the charger.. I finally found it and as soon as I plugged it in the plug was showing green light as that it was fully charged... When we turn the unit on it lights up but its dead... Where can I get the cheapest battery (and does it have 1 or 2)? Or you mention a reset button? Many Thanks...

have you tried to push the scooter like a normal non-electric scooter then while moving twisting the throttle? If not, then i dont know what to tell you except to get a new one.

Replace the throttle. The throttle in these scooter are very cheap and wear out quick. You can find a throttle replacement at:

Your batteries are probably shocked, so replace them.

The chargers are pretty fragile - I've seen several dead ones. If the light doesn't go on when you plug it in you pretty well need a new one.

If the chain is too long than shorten it by using a chain breaker. Or you don't have a chain breaker take the scooter to a bike or more preferable a electric scooter shop and have them do it. The problem could also be your chain tensioner check to see if it's tightening the chain.
