Reset button problems e100

I would clean and tighten all connections inside the battery compartment. I use a eurotool fiberglass brush. it cleans the connections without damaging the connections. A pair a needle nose pliers to tighten the space lug connectors. You may need to replace the circuit breaker as they do wear out. To Find a replacement on the web browser search line type"Razor E100 Circuit Breaker replacement". The Circuit Breaker can be found for about $5.99. Because of the high current draw and weather (meaning kid like pud puddles, snow and Ice) they don't have long wear lives .

How to reset the razor E100 ?

There is a reset button by the on/ off toggle switch I believe. Also, the e100 needs to be pushed to about 2.5 mph before it will go on its own power.

Razor ground force go cart

I don't think this would be a problem, as long as the wheels fit the axle properly, both in diameter, and length of shaft.

I turn on my razor E300 the lights comes on to say its on but dont work i plug my charger in and on the chager the green light comes on saying its full charged what could b the prblem ?

The green light will come on if the charger does not sense a low battery. In other words, if you plug it into the wall, and not the scooter, it will still show the green light. It will only show a low charge (and charge the battery) if it is completely connected completing the circuit. My guess is that the battery is dead, and the plug is not all the way connected. Also, I believe the scooter has to be turned off to charge.

When you apply the brake does the motor cut out?

I am not familiar with how scooters run specifically but I would bet the motor does disengage seeing how it is electric.

How to put air in tire of e300 razor

  1. rotate the rear wheel until the hole in the sprocket lines up with the tyre valve.
  2. insert the tyre valve extension through the hole and attach it to the tyre valve
  3. inflate the tyre to the correct pressure (usually 45psi)
  4. remove valve extension and put in a safe place for next time.
Inflating the rear tyre is detailed in the owners manual, which you can download from the Razor web site. http://www.razor.com/au/products/electric-scooters/e300/

The Razor charges fine and will start with no load. For instance, spin the wheels and hit the throttle, it kicks right in. Put it on the ground and it stops immediately. By the same token, it will not

The battery can be recharged only so many times before it is no longer usable. You probably need a new battery. It runs with no load because it does not need much current (amperage). With a load it needs a lot more current than the battery can actually put out. The charger brings the voltage of the battery back up to normal but the current is not there due to a worn out or defective battery.

Razor e300 Continually needs to be reset

I posted a similar issue about the same scooter. If you do replace the batteries and still experience the same issue, check the wiring for loose wires and possibly replace the fuse. After replacing the fuse and connecting wires, my scooter doesn't pop the fues with every use anymore. http://www.fixya.com/support/t7752702-ride_scooter_turns_off

Chain keeps poppin off

These are the instructions for adjusting the chain. They are taken directly from the manual available at http://ep.yimg.com/ty/cdn/razorama/e100e200e300manual.pdf

To adjust the chain: 1. Loosen the axle 2. Loosen the brake anchor (this is attached with the small bolt in the long slot on the left side of the rear fork) 3. Tighten the tension adjusters on the axle 1/8 to 1/4 turn to tension the chain. Tighten both adjusters the exact same amount to maintain the wheel alignment. Note: this system of adjusters is common to motorcycles and BMX bicycles so I your are not familiar with it, if you know anyone who is, they would not have a problem adjusting it for you. Chain tension: The chain should be "just not-quite snug" in other words, not taut or sloppy loose. BE CAREFUL NOT TO ADJUST TOO TIGHT. The tensioning system can easily impart too much tension and snap the chain or bend the motor output shaft. Turn the adjusters 1/8 to 1/4 turn at a time and recheck the tension each time. 4. Once the tension is good, tighten the axle and brake anchor bolt. Test run the scooter. Readjust as needed.

My e300 razor run but will not move

Check to see if the chain is moving when you apply throttle. If the chain is not moving but you can hear the motor working then it is likely the chain has come off the motor sprocket. If this is the case then follow the steps in the user manual to refit the chain and adjust the tension.

When i flip switch to turn on it just starmts going full speed without touching throttle?

Sounds like the throttle is stuck in the full position. Can you adjust the throttle to other positions ? There should be a spring to return the throttle to a "off" position - and then you will have to twist to make it go. The spring may be missing.

How do you put air in the back tire without taking

I just did this a couple hours ago. taking off back tire will not help you. The rotor is attached to the wheel itself. You need to line up the hole in the rotor with the valve stem. You will need to have a screw on extension to valve stem ( I got lucky and had one). Screw the extension onto the valve stem then use air compressor to air up the tire.
