Engine runs but wheels do not move

This could be a few things: 1) Your clutch plates may have worn out so that even when the bike is in gear, it will just rev, but no power will be transmitted to the drive shaft (smaller front chain sprocket is the driving gear, larger rear sprocket on the back wheel is the driven gear) 2) The front chain drive sprocket has come off under the cover on the motor - if the chain is really slack, have a look. 3) The front chain drive sprocket SHAFT has sheared. (basically, meaning that the shaft has broken into two parts as it couldn't handle the drive power (torque) being delivered through it to the chain drive) With the motor on, listen for grinding noises internally when you rev, from the vicinity of the front chain drive cover. If its rough and grindy, the shaft may be sheared. Then with the motor off, take the cover off and leverage the small chain drive sprocket away from the motor with a screwdriver, and see if the shaft can just be pulled out of its sealed opening. Unfortunately with these bikes, the metals used in drive shafts and motors are not always heat-treated or hardened to the standard they should be, so shearing and premature failure can happen. 4) The gearbox or something in it has blown, unfortunately for the same reason above, quality related. Its fair to say that these great little bikes are here for a good time, but not for a long time.

No power

Could be the battery. Put the Scooter on a block so the rear tire is raised. Remove the standing plate to reveal the battery compartment. Charge the Unit completely 1. Using a multimeter measure the voltage across the batteries. If the voltage is below 20 volts batteries are dead - Replace batteries. 2. Now for a running test. Turn the throttle and spin the rear tire to preform a kick start. Still measuring the voltage. If the voltage is Below 20 volts or if the voltage drops quickly batteries are dead - Replace batteries. 3. If the voltage is remaining around 24 volts for a long period - then you could have connector problems, clean and tighten all connectors. I use a fiberglass electronic cleaning brush, as contact cleaners leave residue that interfere with electrical connections. The control module is simple and can be replaced with only a 24 volt relay without the kick start feature or Brake. If you want the brake then you can use two 24 volt relays still no Kick Start. For those of you who know electrical, below is circuits I developed to replace the controller. This diagram will also give you a better understanding on the Razor circuit. NOTE : This is not a schematic diagram of the Razor E100 Control Module. I designed this circuit. for my Great Nephew's Scooter. 1. The Brake is a normally closed switch that opens when you squeeze the Brake handle. 2. The throttle is two normally open switches that close when you turn the throttle. 3. The Kick Start circuit is described in the Diagram below. 4. The resistors values may need to be tweaked for best performance. 2a0b7f10-2c7e-4ffc-b7d7-ab4ce6d1545e.jpg

Do UPG 12 volt 7ah batteries work as good as "RAZOR BRAND" Batteries? My scooter is an e300.Do you know if by chance, the e300 scooter needs razor batteries only?I got generic ones, and they are terrible

No. We get batteries from a local supplier and they work just as well. are by far the most common problem with razors because people dont keep them charged.

E300 electric scooter battery,

The scooter uses batteries specifically designed for deep discharge applications. If your new batteries are not lasting then they may only be suitable for standby or backup type applications like for your house alarm system or garage door opener when the mains power goes out.

Battery problems

You might still be under warranty. If so follow the instructions on the box. If you do not have a warranty, try a different outlet in your house. If this doesn't work, look up your model number and then battery on eBay and Amazon. Hope this Helps You, if it does be safe.

How i can pump the weels on the back

Hi, you need to take the end-cap off of the right side of the handle bar. It is a black cap/plug that pulls out. You will see a black plastic piece that's about 3" long. Pull that out of the end cap. This is the extension that is screwed on the the air valve. Just place through the hole in the rear sprocket and thread on, and fill the tire with air. When done, unthread it and replace back into handle-bar end-cap and reinstall the end-cap. It only took me 4years to figure that out!

Razor e300 Continually needs to be reset

I posted a similar issue about the same scooter. If you do replace the batteries and still experience the same issue, check the wiring for loose wires and possibly replace the fuse. After replacing the fuse and connecting wires, my scooter doesn't pop the fues with every use anymore. http://www.fixya.com/support/t7752702-ride_scooter_turns_off
