Our cooker has stopped working and auto is flashing

If auto is flashing, i would say the oven is waiting on a clock time to be set to determine when to start cooking and when to turn off. Try and reprogramme the oven to manual. Reset the clock time, It should work then.

How do I disconnect the clock on my rangemaster LPG so I can use the oven ?

You will need a wiring diagram to ensure the correct supply wires are connected to the element and the ability to turn the oven and off is still working otherwise the element may stay on all the time.

New rangemaster prof.fx90 induction cooker but hob not working. - comes on if a ring is on if you touch the hob but no other lights come on + it won't heat up.

Induction stovetops wont heat until a metal pot is put on top of the element. They work through electromagnetism. These tops wont work with glass or aluminium pots. They have to be steel.

Clock timer is on auto and flashing 0 0. 0

Try turning the power off and leaving it off to the oven for 15 minutes or so. Turn the power back on and see if you can reset the clock.

Stop gas burner on rangemaster from cutting out

Try removing the burners and soaking in hot soapy water. If this doesnt work, an old trick is to burn the dirt out. Put the burner in the oven and bake it. The heat will soften any dirt and then washing the burner in hot soapy water usually removes the build up. Try poking a needle into the holes to clear them.

Rangemaster 110 gas cooker. How can I make it to comply with the gas regulation?

Non compliance of a product is usually because the Gas Board, Gas Regulators, Government Agency, etc have determined that the unit is unsafe to use under certain conditions. I have no idea why yours doesnt comply but it would be something to do with safe operation. In Australia for instance, any gas appliance sold here, must meet AGA requirements and have an AGA Approval decal on it with an authority number. The oven you have probably doesnt carry a Government approval and this would make it illegal for a Gas Tech to instal it. I would suggest you contact the supplier for more information. It is strange though that they would be allowed to sell a unit that doesnt comply.

Why isn't my Rangemaster Hood blower turning when switched on?

Hi Ed Being a range hood & subjected to cooking fats etc. It might be gummied up around the fan and just require cleaning! But.... you said it was humming and there is a capacitor close by. Then it's probably an induction motor thats not getting kick started by the Cap. While it's humming, use a finger (or stick) to push start in one direction or try other direction. If it spins up and stays going.... you've found the problem. The Cap is not kick starting in the right direction. Remove the Cap (with AC Disconnected) and check the values to get a similar replacement. Good Luck You searched for Start capacitor

My rangemaster professional + 90 gas is when you turn on the oven and turn up the gas all the burners igniters start working can you please help .

Hello. Normally the ignitors WILL all start sparking--only the burner you've initiated will turn on. All the ignitors are wired together with a harness underneath the cooktop. This harness is connected to a spark module and when you choose whichever burner, it simply energizes the module. Only the burner with gas flowing will ignite. I hope this helps you!

The hot warning light on my rangemaster110 warming plate has stopped working but the warming plate still works fine

Two possibilities, either the bulb has failed, or the temperature sensor in the top has failed. Neither is likely to be an easy or cheap replacement.

Can i fit a glass lid to my Rangemaster Toledo 90? It has never had one fitted and wondering if one can be fitted. Thanks

No not if it has never had one fitted by the manufacturer as it wont have a safety device fitted to close the gas supply in the advent that the lid is closed while a burner is still a light which would shatter the safety glass and cause injury to the user. Some glass lidded cookers where imported to England when i was an apprentice gas engineer and no safety device fitted and the lids exploded and where soon made illegal.
