Could be switch, cord or motor. If the switch has alot of play it is usually bad. Check cord for damage.

Could be several things. Bad switch (does it have a lot of play in it) Bad cord , check for damage. Or bad motor.

You put hose on rear of unit and use the inflator tool. Be sure and replace rear cover when finished.

Could be several things. Bad cord, bad receptacle on rainbow or bad motor on power head.

Gasket is not sealing tight.

The motor brushes are bad. If you continue to use unit it will damage the armature which is very bad.

Attach hose with out power head to the rear of unit and turn unit on. This is a pretty effective way of eliminating anything that may be in hose. Also check belt on power head. P.S don't forget to put rear cover back on rainbow,

Locked up bearing.

Check bearings on beater bar and stem on motor. Use your finger to make sure they all roll smoothly and if they are very noisey. If any of these are bad the unit will shut down.

Probably a bad bearing. The rainbow units are great a shutting themselves down before they burn up. Having it serviced will take care of the problem

Check the beater bar bearing. try rolling them with you finger. They may be locked up or bad if they don't roll easy. You can do the same thing on motor. try rolling the stem coming from the motor (the prt the belt goes on) with your finger. If it is not smooth or makes alot of noise, it may be going out.

Pump may be bad but check the lines to make sure they are not clogged.

Belts may look ok and may make the brushroll spin but need to be replaced at least once per year. First make sure the brush roll will spin freely.
