It needs to have a rubber gasket like on your washer hose on it. Should solve problem

The bearings are probably worn out.

There probably is a locked up bearing. It is not a good idea to try to keep trying to run the unit. It will only cause further damage.

It may be the pivot arm. That is the neck on the power head that the wands connect into. The way to check that is by putting the handle directly into the neck and with it running, move handle back and forth forward and backwards to see if it has a short in the hose part of neck

Yes it will work.

This is because your beater bar bearings or motor is going out. Check both. You can check them by rolling the stem of the motor with you finger to see if motor bearing is damaged. It should roll very smoothly.

Check the electric cord on the power head.

It sometimes takes a good soaking with water in the tank for a while. Maby a Week or longer, and it also takes a little running time. Not more than 10 minutes at a time, then cool for 30 minutes inbetween runnings, for the water to pump out of them. Do not even hook up any hoses, until it pumps water.

you need to hold the seperator to keep the whole thing from spinning, then get a pair of pliers and turn the nut counter clockwise.

check for a clog in the hose...most likely down by the hose/power nozzle connection

Breakers trip when there is a short...looks are deceiving...electricity doesn't lie....you have a short...keep looking.

held on by screws on the bottom of the unit...unscrew to access the inside parts

Undo the 2 clips (one on each side, and lift the canister/motor off the water basin.

you have a clog in the hose....put the hose onto the exhaust and blow out the obstruction.

Most models the casters slide into slots on the tray

It won't run if the bowl isn't on. There's a safety switch
