Rainbow Air Purifiers - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support
My rainbow isn't working properly anymore. The water is not spinning, suction seems to be still working, the water doesn't move much, the air is merely blowing on the water surface.
There may be a problem with the impeller or water flow system in your Rainbow air purifier. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check the impeller: The impeller is the part of the water flow system that rotates and creates the vortex that sucks in air and pollutants. It's possible that the impeller has become clogged or damaged, which would prevent it from spinning properly. Try removing the impeller and cleaning it thoroughly to see if this improves the water flow.
2. Check the water level: Make sure that the water level in the Rainbow is high enough to cover the bottom of the impeller. If the water level is too low, the impeller may not be able to rotate properly.
3. Check the air flow: If the air is not flowing through the water as strongly as it should be, there may be a problem with the motor or fan that powers the air flow. Try cleaning the motor and fan blades to see if this improves the air flow.
4. Check the water flow system: The water flow system in the Rainbow consists of a series of tubes and valves that regulate the water flow. Make sure that all of the tubes and valves are properly connected and functioning correctly.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you should contact Rainbow customer support for further assistance.
