RAM memory in a Presario computer

Hello,

No, it does not matter what size ram modules you have installed, aslong as they are supported by the laptop.

You can have 128MB on one slot and 1024MB on another for example, but these days its more common to have sizes like 1024MB and 2048MB. As long as the size and speed, type is supported it will work.

Thank you,
I will fix it!!

Ok, try the device in another computer, if the same error comes up in another computer or more, you most likely have a faulty usb device or a loose connection. is this a usb memory or?

try connecting the printer directly into a usb port, also if possibly try the printer on another computer to see if the problem happens there also, or if its a problem with your ports.

Graphics

Graphic card output connections cannot be shared on two different cards. You will need to install the PCI card then find a way of connecting your screen cable to it depending on type of PC case and motherboard orientation.

Where can i find parts like the remote that goes to this computer

if you cant turn it on then you will probably have to reboot you will need to have your restore disk ready, and to get it going you will have to reset bios, unplug the computer then remove the battery from the mother board for a few minutes, certain viruses can damage the hard drive its rare but it can happen, put the battery in and plug it in, then you will have to turn it on and enter bios to turn off some things to aid your reboot you have to push whichever F1, or F8 or which one gets you to bios. first when it prompts you with a: / try typing in scndsk/all this will check you drive and program to see if its fixable, if it prompts as bad than use fdisk to restore i hope you have a floppy set up as a start up disk it will have fdisk on it. once its clear put in your restore disk and shut off comp then start up and follow prompts.

IX PACIUP4240 15'' LCD, No POST or boot

The error message "CABLE NO INSERT" refers to the lack of video signal to the LCD. To fix it you have to use a short VGA cable that connects VGA output of motherboard to VGA input of LCD. Only then you are going to see video output on LCD screen. Your other option is to connect external monitor to VGA output on motherboard. Either way you are going to see motherboard's video.
