Slight movement is necessary as this allows for a hammock effect to prevent the baby in the carseat feeling every jolt on the way. With the weight of baby in the carseat on the chassis the movement will be less noticeable. As long as the adaptors are fitted correctly to the chassis and the carseat has been placed onto the adaptors correctly there should be no cause for concern. If you are worried that it seems to move a lot, compare your model to a shop display model and if it does seem excessive you can send your product in for our engineers to provide inspection & repair under the Quinny warranty.

Quinny Zapp 4 is a USA specification model specifically designed, tested and approved under USA standards. It is a completely separate product from European model Quinny Zapp 3 and it is not possible to alter a Zapp 3 to become a Zapp 4. Quinny Zapp 4 model cannot be sold outside of USA as it has not been tested or approved under other countries standards for sale of wheeled nursery goods.

No the buttons are not available as spare parts that we can send out, the chassis would need to come in for inspection and repair required. Hi Is the hand grip connection bar between the handlebars locked into position? There will be some movement, but without being able to see it we would be unable to advise if it is within normal range. Your best option would be to visit your local Quinny retailer and check their display Zapp, see if it is the same amount of movement as your model or less.

Yes the new seat unit can be used with old zap.You remove the fabric seat (look on u-tube if you don't know how)the new seat unit then fits on to frame via the addapters that come with the xtra seat unit, at the point where the car seat addapters fit.There is a large push button on the top of the seat unit which you push in to recline or sit up the seat, and a little one too next to it, that needs to be pushed away from the larger one, while you hold the large button down when you want to remove the seat unit.I found fitting the xtra seat very easy.To fold the zapp you Must remove the entire seat unit as it won't fold with it on, unlike the old one.

Hi Irama You can send the Zapp Xtra to our engineers in the UK for inspection & repair work required. If it's under 24 months old you can send copy of your proof of purchase to our care team and they can arrange inspection & repair free of charge under warranty, however there would be a 15GBP charge for courier collection from your address. Alternatively you may like to discuss the situation with a Quinny retailer who may deal with the issue on your behalf which would mean you do not have to pay for courier collection.

mine use to do that after it hadn't been used for a while. i used a knife point to "flick" it out, after opening and closing it a few times it sorted itself out. a bit of wd40 helped too. good luck
