To measure the sound pressure you have to take lots and lots of things in account. The correct measurement tool, the correct characteristics of the microphone and filters. Correct distance between source and microphone and so on and so on. Just having a DB meter won't give you any correct measurement. Beter start googling a few days and read some scientific papers than sales talks about db meters. You let is sound as if anyone who buys a car immediately can drive one, or anyone who buys a scalpel can operate.

The green wire connects to the backup lights control. When the gear shift is in "Reverse" this acts as the switch on the "Monitor" and turns the system on so you can see what's behind you to safely "Backup" Hope this helps you.
