Installing a 2 port ATA-133 IDE adapter card to a desktop w/a hard drive & DVD
I don't think you can boot off of the ATA-133 so you will have to boot off of the IDE on the mobo and have the DVD drive jumpered cable select on the 2nd IDE. Boot that way to make sure the system boots. Shut down. Then instll the ATA-133 adapter with NO DRIVES on it and boot. The system should ask you for drivers for the new hardware. Intall the drivers. Shut down. Attach the new drives to the ATA-133. Reboot. You still might have to go into admin in windows and assign drive letters to the new drives. Anyway, if you are trying to boot off of a drive on the ATA-133 adapter, I don't think you can do it. I have mostly used Asus boards with Award Bios and there was no way to point the boot process to an add-on ATA Controller.

I didn't resolve the problem, and I thought this was public forum not a paid subscription issue
RAID 0 Array disappeared after reboot
I would try the hard drive on another sata controller/port to verify that the bad drive is in fact bad. If it is really bad, then no there is nothing you can do but replace the drive and recreate the array (losing all data!).
You can not 'recover' a failed RAID-0 array because there is no parity or mirror data on an extra disk like there is with the other RAID modes. This is why people recommend against using RAID-0 for important data (unless you take frequent backups): RAID-0 actually increases your likelihood of losing your data. Statistically speaking, you are multiply the failure rates of each individual drive together.
Bios problem
if worse comes to worse. put the hard drives on external 3.5 cases.. i had this card i did a firmware update on it for some cdrom issue. bought it in 2000
Mobo reads less ram than windows
possible that you have incompatible mem installed,
the archictecture of the mem could be 32mb x 64bit could mean that the "BIOS" may only be able to see 32Mb x 8 which to me suggests that this is not the correct mem for this Motherboard, is this mem recovered from another system or an old board.
Try Kingston.com and use their memory configurator to find the correct mem for your motherboard (enter the MB manuf and model)

Have you actually purchased Visio, or are you just trying to get it for free?
As a software guy, I would have to advise against piracy. :)
There are several ways to get Visio for cheap. If you are a student, there are discounted versions available online and in stores. Also, you can check with your school for even cheaper options sometimes. Try the university bookstore if available. Or a Computer Science department maybe.
If you are working, and your company uses MS Office applications, find out if they have the "Microsoft at Home" program. You can get MS Office applications for really cheap that way. I can get Visio through my company's "Microsoft at Home" program for a few dollars.
My Employer Says They Are Going To Cut My Wages. Can They?
If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired an
employment attorney to fight the case on my behalf. It turned out that my employer was basically looking to scare people into taking the wage cut.
They got into some pretty serious legal trouble for their transgression, and nothing happened to me in terms of wage cuts after that. If you are between contracts, your employer can re-negotiate your salary, but as far as I am aware, if you are in an agreed-upon contract, they cannot just decide to reduce your salary. If you want to settle matters, contest this action with support from a legal professional.
