Pride travel scooter cut s off
This is usually due to the battery "jumping" off the contacts when you go over a bump in the pathway. Put a RUBBER door stop between the battery and the seat post. This fixed mine for all but the huge potholes. Had this fix for 4 years
Jazzy chair has been sitting for 15 months. It
It sounds like the batteries have gone bad and need to be replaced.
The batteries contain a gel that needs to have current run through it on
a regular basis (at least 8 hours once a week) or it will oxidize and solidify. If
you attach the charger, what will most likely happen is the green light
will either stay green or go to green after a very short time. When you
turn on the power chair, nothing happens. The charger will indicate the
batteries are full, but instead of being full of power, they are full of
crud. Your warranty will most likely not cover replacement as this is
due to customer neglect, but your insurance
may still cover the replacement batteries if you can wait for the process to go
through. Otherwise, you will need to replace the batteries on your own,
type U1, 24v 33 amp, approx. $125 each at Batteries Plus or Interstate Battery. Good luck!
How do i find serial number ?
Usually a white sticker either underneath the battery box or wrapped around the seat post. Hope this helps ..... Dave
My gogo ellite scooter back wheels wont move its like they are stiff everything else working
Possible problem with your Transaxle or Solenoid Brake. More likely to be the Solenoid as this would explain there being no noise when you push it (in order to push it you have to disengage the solenoid hence no noise). This is a small magnetically operated brake attached to the end of your motor and they can sometimes bind on causing noise - heat buildup and excessive battery drain amongst other things. they usually are held on with 3 or 4 small allen bolts and are very easy to replace .. Hope this helps
Thanks Dave .....
Even on a full charge
Pride scooters are known for this problem, as I found out when it happened to mine.
You need to replace the Throttle Pot. Either take it to a mobility shop and let them do it or buy the part and do it yourself. It simply involves unscrewing the old one and screwing the new one into place, and there are diagrams to help you on the internet.
This throttle pot problem has happened to my Pride scooter three times already.
Why does it constantly beep?
hi, it's it's running okay but bleeping , could be low battery voltage or a failure in the bleeping circuit with wiring or the controller...

Why does it beep five times when key is turned on and controls won't work
hi, the 5 bleeps are related to the brake,,, located at the rear of the scooter located on the side of the motor, attached to that is the free wheel lever,, in drive mode ,, check that the microswitch is working correctly, check the wire( connectors etc ) from the brake to the controller ,
