Five beeps? Maybe it's not the same as my Celebrity XL8 but my instruction manual talks of a 1+4 beep warning meaning low battery charge. It also suggests checking that the wiring harness connectors are all fully connected - that would include the battery terminals of course. hi, they are good readings, the brake resistance is a bit low...however does the brake click when moving the throttle lever to go forward or backwards ? if the brake is not releasing the scooter will never move... does the throttle lever feel loose ? you need to convince yourself that the throttle part is working correctly , if you double checked everything including the brake and connectors then we need to look at the controller .. Do you mean a charger plugged in for four months ? or the battery pack on the scooter for four months ? if it not charging and left on the scooter they will discharge and may never recover. Leaving it on charge for four months ?, the charger will go into trickle charge mode once it fully charged the batteries, manufacturers will agree this is a good thing , if left for weeks and weeks , it should be charged up fully once a week if not in use and i recommend removing the battery case as i seen issues arise from leaving a battery pack on a scooter for long periods of time, for starters they discharge quicker,.

hi Kelly, please count the number of times it flashes then there be a pause and it will repeat. If the flashes are continuous never pause then that the controller telling you the batteries are getting low. Regards Rob

hi John, have the brushes been checked making sure they are not sticking inside the motor brush holder, At worse it could be the wigwag pot, try moving the wigwag lever in the upwards or downwards direction as you go forward , be gentle to see whether that improves things, if it does , you require a new throttle pot.
