Hi Jose,

Can you describe the 2 lines coming in? Also, could you provide the make and model of your faucet. Do you have pex tubing for your incoming water or other type of line?

Please describe more fully. Thanks,

Handie Andie

The spray handle works but

wow need a new faucet?? NO just kidding

Ok the water not running out of the faucet. that is the screen on the end of the spout, just un screw it clean it and your good to go.The leak on the spray, pull the spray out and run it and look at the connection right there on the handle.

if there is no leak, get an other person to run the sprayer and you take a flash light and look up at the bottom of the faucet.and see if you can see the leak from there. The hose should attach to a brass section coming out of the bottom of the facucet, It may be it just got loose and you need to re tighen it. Now yo will need a basin wrench to do that . If yo dont have you you can buy a cheap on ( which is all you need) from a hardware store,

Also if you take your hand and feel around the the bottom of the sink where all the pipe come down it might be the fauect itself.

Good hunting be safe protect your eye

There is a knocking sound

when plumbing knocks and shakes the fittings I never seen it being the fauect causeing it. What it sounds more like that you have a loose pipe in the wall. That will bang every time the water goes on and off.

All single handle faucets are quick shut off which does not help to stop the bang. It makes it worst.

Try at first to turn off the water to the house, then open every fauect in the house and on the out side. I know it sound nuts, but this is what you are doing. when a house is bulit they install an AIR CHAMBER this is no more than a section of pipe 12 to 24 inch long with a cap on the end.

This traps air inside, you can compress air but not water so this acts like a shock absorboer that stops water hammer.

Now turn the water back on and then tirn off all the open fauects. If it stil does it you might have to open a wall and strap down the pipe work. also get some flex water supply lines for the lav faucet this will let the pipe move without making any bang soounds

I have a problem with

Yes I can tell you, there is a fitting inside the faucet its call a divertor. When you use the spray handle it clicks over and makes all the water that was going to the spout go to the spray handle.

If you did not have this jsut think how it would work with half the water going to rach side. I don;t know how old your fixture is but it may just have gotten some lime or and other drop of trash inside the faucet.

Turn the water on cold only open full, kinda rapid fire the trigger to make the water jump back and forth for about 3 mins. This may jar lose the junk and stop it from doing what it is doing. If that does not fix it the faucet needs service

best of luck

My price pfister tub and

remove the cartridge and replace it with a new one. They have cams and pistons inside that out of the blue the cam does not work and then you get only hot or cold water.

Best of luck Rich

Check the screen if it is clogged. That can slow down the water flow.

Kitchen price pfister with spray

If you will look .....first thing would be a good idea to turn water cufoffs under the counter to off position....then remove handle,to do this there should be a set screw (hexagonal screw) on the bottom side of handle lever a heagonal wrench will be needed to remove handle...... Now that you have the handle off you can turn the cold side of the cutoff on or the hot side to find out which one is leaking hot or cold .......if indeed it is a washer ( rubber cup) that is leaking.......hope this helps...

How do I replace the flange on the side sprayer?

The hose that goes to the Sprayer has to be disconnected under the sink at the main connection there, then it can be pulled up and out of the top of sink. the you can unscrew the nut under the sink on the flange and remove and replace.

Avalon cartridge faucet handle sticking

I would try replacing the cartridge. Handle has a set screw (probably an allen head) There should be a retaining nut holding the cartridge in. Unscrew it and pull the old cartridge out. You might have to pull pretty hard.

I want to install a new shwer head fixture. I am

You have to remove the whole pipe going into the wall, the ball is not seperate. Use a pipe wrench or something similar to remove it. A new showerhead pipe needs teflon tape wrapped clockwise on the threads and screwed into the fitting inside the wall. Now you can install any shower head you want.

I have a One handle Price Pfister Kitchen Faucet

Hi,
The passageways in the diverter part of the faucet are very small and can get dirt stuck in them....the diverter is a plunger like piece that will slide and stop the faucet when it senses flow from the sprayer...
The only hope of cleaning this out is to do this...
Take off the supply tubes or pipes at the hot and cold supplies... then blow compressed air....a air compressor with 100 psi air and a blow gun works best...backwards through the hose and out the supply tubes....this should blow out any built up dirt in there and get the passageway open again...you also could try to open the faucet valves... take the aerator off the spout and try to blow through there also... just in case there is build up in there also...
