Brand new Powerwinch rc30.

I would try to get it repaired Under warranty. And later use it in double line... The weight of your boat is 1, the force needed to pull your boat on the trailer is another thing...

Powerwinch windlass not working.

Of course, first check the voltage at the connections to the windlass. Have someone operate the switch while you measure with a volt meter. If no voltage check breakers, or fuses. Heavy current devices like a windlass will often require fuses near where they connect to battery power. A windlass requires a LOT of current to run. Not just voltage. Trace the wires from the battery connection all the way to the windlass. If possible, loosen any connections (ex; a lug with a nut or bolt) and clean with a wire brush then reconnect. Be sure to disconnect the battery while cleaning. Many times wires will corrode past the insulation. Especially if they were not tinned wire to begin with (tinned wire has a silver shine, regular copper has a copper color and typically turns dark or even black when corroded). Since a windlass requires a lot of current, often there may be a relay near the windlass that might go bad. Listen to see if this is activating while someone operates the switch.

My powerwinch brake won't release

you have to conscious of the fact that when dealing with water and equipment running in water there will be a distinct possibility of rusted bits. Winches have a brake system to hold the line in place when stopped so at a guess I would say that the release mechanism is rusted and not working properly. Try spraying in some wd-40 or crc tp see it that helps.

I hve 2 PW812's

CLICK HERE for all the available Guides and Parts lists. (under " Technical Documents" )

For whatever reason they have a 712, and a 912 listed... not a 812.

You may be able to contact the manufacturer directly to obtain the information on the 812 (unless your question was a Typo - in which case the information is at the link above)

I just bought a new boat and need to buy a boat

Never buy a trailer with the same capacity as the weight of your boat! This can be very dangerous! Instead, make sure the trailer's capacity is at least twice that of the weight of the boat, all your gear, and the boat's motor.

What is the size of a small yacht?

Small yachts, also known as Silboats or Cabin Cruisers are 20-40 feet. There are of course larger Yachts that can get to over 100 feet, also known as Mega Yachts.

2017 Tracker 17.5 ft. boat. How can I remove batteries from it please.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to Boating. Hello Anonymous Harriet :>D You will have two or possibly 3 batteries. Usually a large car type starting battery for starting the engine. Then two Deep Cycle Gel Batteries, one for the marine electronics, fish finder etc, and another that powers the front bow mounted Trolling motor. You will find them in the deck lockers. Open them, release any tie downs, undo the cables and lift them out for Winter storage. I keep mine in my garage and I put them on a battery minder for 24 hours once a month. I have the Battery Tender Junior, and I put them on a 6 amp car charger before the season starts. https://www.google.com/search?q=Battery+Tender https://www.google.com/search?q=2017+tracker+175+remove+battery The information you gave is is merely the year of manufacture, the maker and the length. They all have model numbers. That would be the key to searching for a manual online. https://www.jdpower.com/boats/2017/tracker-marine/pro-guide-v-175-wt__/32067137/specs and https://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=969900 ..
