Fault: Low Ouput Voltage

Cause: Surge Taken by load / Short Circuit on load / Fault in inverter

Remedy: Remove load and restart UPS / Try a different load / Repair or swap out

You should call your local service rep. Any standard UPS will fail on Bypass, as the system is designed that way. Some systems when running will revert to inverter from Bypass but not many. They usually have an "Economy Mode" setting. Some UPS systems require a soft or hard reset after any service Involving loss of all power to the electronics, this may be the problem, but it is more likely there is an inverter fault. The Prestige 1250EXT PS2E has a white or red(depending on how old it is) 4 hole rectangular socket on the back bottom left of the UPS when it is lying flat on the bench. The left end terminal is positive and the right end terminal is negative. This female socket(connector) is where the male battery connector from a Prestige battery pack will fit. It can only be connected one way. The DC battery bus is 60 volts nominal.
