i want to be able to take photo out on the camera to send to my pc. the photo is not uploading on my computer. so i need a copy of the softwear polaroid a520 to run again on my computer i guess i missing a file. my mailing address i [email protected] thank you

on my computer it could come up as a device or go to control panel and click portable media devices but the program portable media devices will only be on there if you have windows 2000 and will still work if windows 2000 is upgraded to windows xp.


NOTE:it may work on windows xp but i don`t think so.

Hi, All digital cameras have interface/connector that you can hook up to your computer. Most common is by USB connector/cable. Except for some models/brands, most when connected to the computer would be recognized and treated by the PC as an external drive (say "E" or "F"). Double clikcing on the the said external/removable drive would display the folder/s where you pictures or stored. It is then a matter of copy/paste or drag & drop to a new/specific folder in your "C" hard drive. If you need specific software that goes/facilitates this feature/function, you have to post back with the brand/model of your digicam. Hope this be of some idea/help. Good luck and kind regards.

Unfortunately this sofware only works with windows 95/98, but if you use windows XP compatability wizard it should work. I dont know what is wrong but I have the exact same problem with mine!!!!

I have three different digital cameras. I use the scanner and camera wizard to download my pics.
The second option, if you use SD card with your camera, then you can get a USB 2.0 SD Memory Card Reader/Writer.

this product is supported on windows 95 and windows 98. You should be able to use the camera by pluging it to the computer, then open my computer and then browse inside the camera and find your pictures.

if its digital and you have a card that goes into your camera, you can take it out.. put it into you compuer reader if you have one on your computer, its a slot for the sound card, if not you can buty a card reader..its called scan disk. it takes 4 sizes of cards..intalled this on your computer and then put your card into slot and you should beable to see your picture on computer. . or go onto google and type your camera name and downloads and c if they have anything there.or call the manufature of the camera to see if theyll send you another at a cost. hope this help

Hi there
Connect the camera to the PC again, you get the connection sound and maybe the auto play.
Look in my computer or computer in Vista, you will see "removable device" in the menu, just double left click on it to view/copy your pictures.

Yes -- with some minor modifications, you should be able use your PDC 640 camera with a computer running Windows XP.
