Free software for polaroid a300

You don't need any special software. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo management program such as Picasa. Organize edit and share your photos

Question

If it stayed shut before it will do again. Take the batteries out. check for anything in the compartment, put them back in checking that they are the correct way round and fully inserted always spring end first then the little positive button last. Push them carefully fully home and the door should shut. Patience usually worked in the end.

Need battery charger

You could try to buy a charger from Polaroid, but not only will that be expensive, it could be almost impossible to find the same one you had. I do use two universal chargers, for my camera's. mine are from GP, but I'm convinced there are other brands to. One charger, I need to adjust the spacing between the contacts, but not tree are chargers, that don't need any adjustment. The voltage needed, is found by the charger, the moment you connect the battery. Because I do have a Kodak (3,7V) a Canon (3,7 volt) and a Nikon (7,2 volt) I have to adjust, but all batteries are charged every time. When traveling I only need to take one charger for 2 or 3 different cameras. Next camera? I can leave the charger in the box. same could go for you too.

Lost photos

Try some photo recovery software to rescue the files on your digital memory card, here are some you may rely on.
Photo Recovery Software (for Windows)
Mac Photo Recovery Software (for Mac OS X)

Be careful: Before your pictures are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the card in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.

Can i retrieve deleted photos

If you are using a memory card, take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that are available to help you recover your photos. This blog article reviews and outlines several of the better ones.

No pictures on camera - yet getting "memory full" message

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs. After copying your photos to the computer, then you can delete the photos from the memory card using your computer.

My camera won't save to mass storage

Are you sure it's an SD card? If it's larger than 2GB then it's actually an SDHC card and won't work in the A300.
