I have a Polaroid a330 and just bought a 2GB sd
first try to see if the card is not locked from the side ..It has a little button that locks it ...after that insert the card into a computer with a card reader ..and format it in Fat mode...by opening my computer folder...right click on the removable storage device ...and choose format ...when it opens choose Fat ..and quick format ..than OK ..this will format it for the first time ..and after that isert it in the camera and see if it is seen ..
if the format card is not available now..(to format it in the camera again and be sure it is the right way and make the folders fro storage ) ..
goto storage feature in the main menu ..and choose to store in teh card ..in tis moment will prompt you to format ...or ..just choose a picture from the camera memory in the view mode..and options ..and try to move it in the card ..if it is not proper formatted will ask you to format it ..and give you the possibility to make it right the way by asking you if you want to format it now...choose ok..and that's all..But I suspect that if you unlock it ..and format it in a computer will work like a charm ...

Using the Flash
The flash is designed to function automatically when lighting conditions permit the use of flash.
The camera has 3 flash modes: Off, Auto , and Always On. You can take an image using

The flash is disabled if the camera is set to Macro mode.

2. Toggle until your desired flash mode appears on the LCD display.
3. Compose your scene and press the SHUTTER button
to capture your image.
