I have a Pioneer 33 elite reciever. The subwoofer channel does not have any sound coming from it. It does this in set up mode and any mode I put it on. What could be rhe problem?

The diagram that I looked at real fast did not have a lot of detail. There are filter circuits in that unit to keep the sub woofer channel in a specific range and there are circuits called op amps that drive those filters. You could have a bad filter component or a failed OP amp. IT will take special equipment to find and replace the bad part. IT could be a weak soldering connection also.

Pioneer htz-121dvd - I need to connect HDMI input for 5.1 surround sound, how can I do it

It will probably be easier to wire the sound bar to the "Audio Out"" on the TV, the DVD player to the HDMI on the TV then change the settings in the TV. On the back of most TV's there are 'Phono Jack' connectors and newer TV's have a 'Digital Out' that uses an Optical cable to transfer the sound. Use one of these to connect the sound bar and usually anything you play through the TV will play through the sound bar. Depending on your TV, the settings to switch to the sound bar will be in the Sound or Audio section.

My Poineer VSX-1020-K displays Amp

Is it hot? You can't reset reality with a switch.

Generally speaking, an amp attempts to protect itself from heat, shorts, overloads and operator exuberance by refusing to turn on or stay on.

Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output or marginally low impedance loading by the speakers; and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.

You should be able to feel if it's hot. WHY is it overheating? Make sure it has sufficient ventilation on all sides and that vent holes are not blocked by dust balls. Ensure the fan (if equipped) is running as designed (some only operate on demand). Clean dust and debris from it.

If the amp comes back on after cooling, you're lucky. They only have so many self-protection cycles in their lives so continuously resetting or cycling their power without addressing the cause can do more harm than good.

If it protects immediately on a cool power up you should disconnect the speaker connections and try it 'nekkid'. If it comes up then diagnose which lead(s) are shorted. If it does not come up the problem is internal and should be left to an experienced and competent hands-on tech.

I have an older pioneer vsx-d902s and whenever i play music the sounds shut off after 30mins and it on after a minute and so on and so forth what seems to be the problem thanks

Just guessing - for a considerable time amplifier output stages have often used encapsulated modules rather than discrete components. Like everything else these arrive in different qualities. High quality amplifiers tend to use higher quality output modules - the best have built in overload protection and thermal shutdown and I expect that could be what is happening, something inside the amp is cooking and when it becomes too warm it shuts down. I suggest you take it to the repair shop before the problem becomes really expensive.

http://audio.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/pioneer/vsx819hk.html It's in the manual. Page 12. Resetting the Main Unit Use this procedure to reset all the receiver's settings to the factory default. Use the front panel controls to do this. 1 Switch the receiver into standby. 2 While holding down the BAND button, press and hold the STANDBY/ON button for about two seconds. 3 When you see RESET? appear in the display, press AUTO SURROUND/STREAM DIRECT. OK? shows in the display. 4 Press STEREO/A.L.C to confirm. OK appears in the display to indicate that the receiver has been reset to the factory settings.

No display whats wrong my pioneer sx-251r reciever has no display but it looks fairly new what could be wrong

There might be a fuse either in the rear panel or inside the case that might be worth checking. Manuals can be downloaded from the link below, though the best advice I can offer is entrust the diagnosis and fault to a professional. https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/pioneer/sx-251r.shtml

I have a pioneer vsx d503s and the standby light is on. But the receiver will not come on

I sounds like you may have a problem in either one of the Regulator circuits, or, one of the Power Amplifier outputs. If the protect circuit detects DC or Low Impedance on one or more of the speaker lines, it will not fire up the high power section of the power supply. Further troubleshooting will require some working knowledge of power amp and power supply circuits. I've got a .pdf copy of the Service Manual if that will help you. Please let me know what your level of troubleshooting ability is, and whether the manual will help you. -Petra

Hello. My Pioneer A/V Receiver Model Number SC-2023-K fall into protection mode can anyone help me how to release it from protection mode ? There is no Pioneer service centre where I live and I can't afford to buy a new avr please help me. Many thanks.

It would go into protection mode to stop damaging other components...... until the fault is rectified it will not stop going into protection mode! Usually this is caused by a short in the wiring, get this tested!

Why does my belt on pioneer pl-335 ride up on the spindle its a new belt correct size

The shaft on the motor is not lined up with the turntable or gear. Adjust the motor (if possible) so it’s properly aligned. Also, clean motor shaft with rubbing alcohol.
