On your home PC, did you have to first install the driver software that came with the recorder,or is the firmware built into the recorder? Not knowing what capture card you have, I can only guess that you are using the componet video input to the capture card and the composite video out of the Xbox. one of the drivers is not compatible or unstable with you system. make sure you have the relevant firmware on your system, update the drivers from the driver menu that is in device manager win 10 its right click on windows logo (start) bottom left and click on the driver and update before using it if no update is available you could try the properties of the software. right click on the icon for the software and menu will pop up go to properties click on that and then go to menu compatibility and click to run on win xp mode or another mode. then press ok.
