Spray it with some synthetic lubricant. I was about to toss my P&T over the bridge until we picked up a can for less than $5 at the local hardware - it rolls good as new. Occasionally (especially after a rainy day) I'll pull the whole front wheel off, wipe down the inside of the tube, and spray both surfaces & allow to dry before replacing.

We had a similar problem. You can get replacement axles from the Phil & Ted website http://store.philandteds.com/parts/index.cat for US$8.99 plus postage and you can get new bearings (FR8-ZZ Flanged Bearings 1/2" x 1 1/8") from www.usabearingsandbelts.com for US$7 per pair including postage. (you'll need a pair for each wheel). If you buy the whole wheel option (US$39)from Phil & Ted it doesn't come with the axle and the axle definitely does not come with bearings. ;( Trust this helps.

I have ordered several replacement parts for my phil and ted sport from Regal Lager its based in the US. Google Regal Lager They are great they could get you the part or tell you where to get it.

You could have someone weld it...usually a junk yard or auto mechanic will be able to do this..my father was a great welder and he could put anything back together. This is usually pretty inexpensive and should hold forever.

It sounds like the Left Rear Axle is bent...

Wash it with a sponge soaked in liquis soap and then water - believe me it is quick n simple.

Look on e-bay. There may not be that exact phrase when you search, but scroll down and you'll find the closest thing they have to what you searched for and I'll almost guarantee you'll find what you're looking for.

I need the same buckle and just found the original manufacturer. The company is Prym and the buckle is an "overall buckle". Seems that black and white 35mm and 25mm width buckles are available. Check your local haberdashery for it!
