I have a Asahi Pentax SP Spotmatic Camera. im unable to crank the rapid winder lever. how can i resolve this.

If there is a film in the camera, then the interlock will prevent the film being wound on. Can you operate the shutter, or is that locked too ? If you are willing to sacrifice the film in the camera, open the back and remove it, then try again with an empty camera.

My pentax optio 60 tells me that my memory card is full but i cant delete any photos to free up space, in fact i cant do anything with it, not even in the tools section.

Copy files to your computer, then format card in the camera.

My Pentax x90 loses the date and time every time the battery is removed.This did not happen in the past. Is there a backup battery needing to be replaced?

Belated reply but I just fixed the same problem on my Pentax x90. No answers anywhere else. Reload the firmware. Download the firmware from http://www.ricoh-imaging.co.jp/english/support/digital/x90_s.html Follow the instructions in the README.txt file. It fixed mine and it now works fine.

Might be temporary lack of communication between lens and body - try cleaning the contacts on both gently with a lint-free cloth and a very little IPA.

It is an older lens and won't work on my camera

You've not said what model DSLR you have, but if you enable 'Use Aperture Ring' in the menu (check manual for exact setting), then it should work OK. If you use SR, you may have to input the focal length as well.
