Why won't my pentax 540 flash won't turn on.
Pentax 540fgz not turn on issue after leaving it off for a while.
I have just this issue of ....
flash unit dose not respond in a any way when loading batteries into it.
lcd dose not respond. Flash dose not charge at all.
my problem turned out to be corrosion on the terminals and a poor door design and corrosion on ternminals.
patch fix.
rotate batteries on terminals to clean contacts them use a bandaid and bandaid to tape door shut.
long term fix take terminal plate off door clean and bend terminal plate so it contacts batteries better.
Why isn't my K100D Flash not working?
Hi,
please ensure that you've not used the camera for more than the advised amount of time by the manufacturer. Also, you can attempt to use the same brand/type of batteries as was including with your camera when you got it. Some manufacturers put internal fimware/software restrictions on their devices. For printers, this would be done for cartridges and in the case of your camera, it would be for batteries.
Lastly, I would check that your sd card isn't full before calling Pentax to refer you to a repair shop.
Thank you.
Pentax Espio 60S "E2" error
Hi for anyone reading this! My 60s was just flashing with this but I fixed it. Took the batteries out, swapped them and that didn't work. Tried to put the old ones back in a few minutes later and then it was fine! Just fiddle around with it. Hope this helps.
Double Vision Pentax 10x50 PCF III
If you have double vision it is out of collimation (alignment of the optical axis). You need to send this to the manufacturer for repair.
Camera won't start, I have
Have you tried cleaning the battery contacts in the camera with a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol?
Error message E9
gebje,
error codes on pentax camera's are in the repair manual to help the technician find the problem faster. e9 is shutter failure and will need to be repaired.
Pentax MZ 50 film winding problem
Well, I'm not a camera repairman, but it sounds to me (and probably to you too) that the electronics are damaged or perhaps there's dust in the contacts inside. I also have an MZ-50. There's so many electronics involved and they don't age so gracefully. I would consider buying another one off eBay or you can get a ZX-30 (same as MZ-30) for $75 from Blue Moon Camera & Machine with a 1 year warranty (parts and labor). The best way would be, in my opinion, to get a manual, mechanical camera from the 1970s and put a good lens on it. Those seem to last forever. No electronics to worry about. Advance and rewind the film manually. You can use a digital camera as a light meter to set the aperture and shutter speed. I'm thinking of going this route when my MZ-50 finally conks out.
How do you change the shutter speeds on an pentax
You can't.
In Auto Pict mode the camera selects the best of the pre-set Scene modes for the photograph which you're about to take. It's basically a variation of fully automatic mode, so the camera selects everything for you.
Auto Pict and Auto are designed to let anyone pick up your camera and take a fully automated snapshot without needing to worry about what settings to use.
To alter the shutter speeds you need to select an appropriate mode such as shutter priority or manual.
Would olympus software work with a pentax camera
It depends on what you want the software to do with the camera. If you simply want to download the pictures then any photo cataloging program such as
Picasa will do the job.If you want to edit your photos, photo editing programs don't care where the photos came from. You can use any photo editing program, such as
PhotoShop or
the GIMP.
Eth-20f manual
Unfortunately, pentax has all but gone out of business, and most of their older stuff was never digitized, so you may be out of luck.
