There should be an extra cable that plugs into the battery charger and then into the camcorder to supply power to the camcorder.

copy your .mts files to computer, and then convert it to .avi, .wmv for playback on windows media player.

you can use avchd video converter, which is decent.

Yes - are you using file explorer to view files? at top of file explorer screen is a sort option click on the column that states date modified and it will sort files in ascending or desending order. It is probably sorting on alphabetical order on the file name at the moment.

If it has a memory card, usually SD or SHD mini-card, buy, beg or borrow a card-reader which plugs into your computer USB port, try copy / recover files from card to PC. If you can't see the files then maybe try free download Express Recovery.

Panasonic Viewfinder - Mirror image:Although I don't own a Panasonic, my Samsung and JVC camcorders have this flipped image function, so I guess most are similar in theory.The mirror image is a function used for taking selfies, or where you want the subject to frame themselves while previewing the image on-screen.This only affects the viewfinder screen, not the saved video or still, which remains as normal.To correct this, you need to navigate to the 'settings' menu, exact location depending flavor of camera.There should be an option for "self-portrait" mode or similar.Switch this back to normal mode.Why mirrored?When screen is rotated 180 degrees to face subject in normal mode, they would see an inverted image, so the "selfie" function flips the graphic to compensate.Regards,Clive.

The internal hard drive has an issue and needs repair/replacement. I would check my manual for this message to see what remedy there may be. Maybe they tell you to reformat it - who knows. Maybe you have to reset the electronics to factory default? Check it out.

The USB lead may not be compatible.
