To change the code, press the * 6 times. You should hear a single beep and one flash from the LED, then enter the default code 1,2,3,4,5,6. Again you should hear one beep and see one flash. Enter the new code you would like to use ...lets say 6,5,4,3,2,1. You should hear one beep and see one flash. Enter the new code again 6,5,4,3,2,1. The code should now be set to 6,5,4,3,2,1. Try the new code and see if it unlocks the door. Also try the old code to make sure it no longer works.. If at any time during the process you hear 3 beeps and flashes something went wrong. Hi. Some automotive instruments use a Voltage Stabilizer to stabilize the instrument cluster and smooth out erroneous and erratic readings. Sometimes this Voltage Stabilizer fails, taking some of the instruments with it, and it needs it to be replaced. You can check you wiring diagram and see if your system uses such a device. They don't cost much although some are not easy to replace. You could also try a second hand instrument cluster. Rgs. Bob
