DRIVER FOR SPEAKER

Speakers don't require software drivers. However, the actual unit that makes the noise in a speaker is also called a driver.

No rgb input signal helpppppppppppppppp

If you can get access at the back of your monitor look for the I/O board. This board is where the antenna and audio/video input are pack in.

Just check for the socket loose connection. Lock properly the connectors and resolder loose terminal connections in the I/O board

I have a optiquest Q20WB

More likley to have bad caps like other Optiquest monitors as shown in my albums.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on: Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed OPTIQUEST monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

How to install monteror Q19wb without a CD

1. A lot of Laptops will be able to detect your monitor as a plug and play device.

Try hooking up the monitor to the laptop's VGA (Blue port with 15 pins in three rows of 5). You will need a vga cable to do this.

Once the monitor is connected and both devices are powered on check your laptop keyboard for a key or button with a picture of a monitor or CRT/LCD written on it.

Often this will be a secondary function key. (On my laptop you switch displays by hitting the Fn key and F8)

-

2. If this doesn't work you may have a problem with the video card and might consider sending it to the manufacturer for repair or getting a replacement (not a novice task)

If its still under warranty you can probably send it in and get the LCD or Video card replaced.

I see that this post is quite old, and you have probably found an alternate solution by now, but I hope that you or someone else finds this information useful.

My monitor is fine a day ago and today it says RGB

Check the VGA cable connections at both ends, also try the monitor on other PC to so you will know for sure if it is the monitor or the PC Video card problems.
