What is the phone number for amazon

If you visit the amazon.com site you can select your country at the bottom of the page. Click on "Help". In most help pages you will find a "Contact Us" button. There you will find all needed information (fax, telephone, etc...) You can find this even without logging in, although that may actually help.

3 keys on my Optima lagtop suddenly stopped working

There is an electronic contact just under where you cleaned with damp qtip, so that may not have been very wise! There are screws on the back side of your laptop that do not remove but do loosen and release the keyboard. release the keyboard and gentely get keyboard to pop up and reseat connection. normally on laptops, keyboardsare able to lift where the f keys are and then slide in the direction of space bar to f keys

I am trying to restore

It the restoration is done and the PC does not respond then there can be fault in the OS as some of the registry files could be corrupt.
Hence it will be best to reinstall the operating software and the drivers of the PC.
Install a good anti-virus as soon as the OS is installed.

When I was turning on my laptop after 5 mins. my

When the laptop shuts down and you can't boot up until it has cooled down, then your notebook could have an overheating problem. The CPU shuts down when it overheats (thermal shutdown) and if this problem is not fixed the the CPU will eventually fail.
The overheating problem could be caused by a faulty CPU fan or the fan and hear sink assembly is clogged with dust.
Check the CPU fan and if is does not spin freely then it needs to be replaced. If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust, then remove the dust, you can also use a can of compressed air to clear the dust from the heat sink fins.

Wish to take laptop travelling for an extended

Yes you can - purchase a 12 Volt DC to 110 Volt AC converter (you can get at Staples or Home Depot). This will allow you to plug your adapter into the converter while it's plugged into the cigarette lighter jack in the car.

Freezing and close windows in

This could be a sign that your laptop is overheating. If you touch the laptop while it is running & you find it too hot, make sure that the fan is running properly & that the air ways are not blocked.
You can blow compressed air into the cooling vents of the fan. If you notice clouds of dust coming out, then it might be a good idea to disassemble the laptop, clean the fan & air ways, & reassemble it back. If the fan has failed & is no longer running, it might need to be replaced.

If none of this solves the problem, or is not the case, then you might have a bad motherboard

Hi, my computer screen wont

You will also need to check the DC jack where the power cord plugs into the laptop, & make sure that it is not loose or broken. If this turned out to be the case, you will need to have it replaced.
Also, test the laptop with the battery removed. Power it only from the power adapter & see if it will start. A bad battery could cause the laptop to not power up. If this turned out to be the case, you will need to replace the battery.

My labtop wont see my webcam

Hi,

Need make and model of webcam and laptop to help, but try testing USB ports. If thats the issue then you need to download and install the drivers for the USB ports on the laptop.

Also try the webcam in another PC and if it picks up it may be the USB port is broken.

Another option is to check the specs of oyur webcam, and make sure it works with your OS ( Some may not work with MAC or Vista, or 64 bit OS's)

If you would like to provide more information, or require more information, get back to me, I CAN solve this problem.
