Hi Erica,The easiest way is to use Firefox and start a New Private Window.To do that, Open Firefox and click on the File menu in the top left of the browser, or you can Hot Key ctrl+Shift+P, In the Drop Down, You will see an option for "New Private Window". Select that and you will bring up another Firefox Window, but this time it will be for "Private Browsing". You can now go to ooVoo and do what you have to do. Once you're finished, just close Firefox. See if you can download the latest version. If the problem still is not resolved contact oovoo support for more troubleshooting.

Try downloading with a different browser.

Try clearing your cookies there is something that is blocking your sign it because of them.

The problem is not due to your Acer computer. I would create a new account using the email that you want to use and just add all of your family friends through the new account.

Make sure that you upgrade your oovoo to the latest version as well make sure the person you are reaching does the same. If that still does not work contact oovoo for another resolution.

try seacrhing your email and resetting the password

Try downloading and installing the newest version of oovoo. But if you can get it off your screen. Try CTRL-ALT and DELETE at the same time, select the task manager and find oovoo on the application list and End the process.

go to www.oovoo.com, download oovoo install it and go through any necessary account set up. There you go!

oovoo had issue where online contacts were shown as offline. I am sure it is possible that a bug might show offline contact as online.
