Make sure your on internal speakers, it can be found in menu sound options

This is either a weak solder connection that gets warm and looses its connection or it is a capacitor that is failing. Both require some knowledge of electronics to find and repair.

This woud be due to two things

1. laser
2. servo motor not spinning to the correct speeds i,e Bad motor

the lazer might not be seeing the disc properly try a disc cleaner which has nylon string on it and they clean the lazer lens

I would like to run my Onkyo Blu-ray BD-SP809 as a multi region blu-ray ? I only read Europe zone DVD/blu-ray and not others !
