Some people write that it needs replacing new batteries. To some extent they are right. But when batteries are weak it gives signal showing red led light on left side. But even if the green light blinks after pressing ON button and does not stay ON. It means that there is problem with it's MESH CAP(Part number NE-U22-4). Either you need to replace it ,if it is completely rusted/damaged due to its prolonged use/improper cleaning etc , Or needs proper cleaning.So before taking decision for it's replacement,one should try to clean MESH CAP properly. Try to clean it for 2-5mins in boiling water,remove it,rinse it and dry it naturally without wiping or touching the mesh. I have been following this procedure when I face such problem for NO MIST from my Micro air Omron Nebuliser model NE-U22, when green light does not STAYON. Just do this , mostly one need not to replace it's MESH CAP lifetime. I am using this nebuliser since 2009 and it works very fine. Just needs regular cleaning of MESH CAP, mouth piece, medication jar,cap/cover etc.,

I contacted Omron and the answer is:SETTING THE POSITIONING SENSORPress and hold the clock button to reset the Positioningsensor. The Positioning sensor is set "on" as default.Press the START/STOP button to store the newsetting.

Same problem on my Omron HEM-711. Manufactured in 2003, past the 5-yr warranty. Cust Suppt told me to replace unit. I opened the unit up and looked inside. Two very tight phillips screws, one on back panel, other in battery compartment. Case pries apart. LCD display looked intact, ribbon was undamaged. Unit appeared to work properly, just did not display correct reading, some of the liquid crystals in a few of the digits were not activating. I installed batteries with case still open, turned power on while pressing ribbon along edge of circuit board. Ribbon is manufactured with glue to circuit board, some of the leads come loose after several years due to manufacturing defect. In my case, pressing towards the bottom side corrected problem. You can see when it's working properly because all the display crystals light up simultaneously when unit is first powered up. I clamped down ribbon with two small paper clips insulated with a few bits of paper, works fine now, saved eighty bucks.

I have used Omron monitors for around 2 years now and I have not found any problem with it. The error may be because you went to the doctor, your blood pressure must have changed since there was a time gap. There is no need to get worried.

E4 smeans The values of body fat percentage and BMI are outside the measurable range.

Please check and set height, weight, age, and gender again.

No, it self calibrates.

Omron error E1 means that the air is leaking from the cuff or the hose or the air hose is not plugged in correctly. First pull the hose out and insert it again. If the error persists find out about replacing the cuff.
