Paslode finish nailer has no spark
Paslode with no spark could be one of a couple of things. First, is the tool clean? These tools are notorious for failing due to the amount of sludge that builds up inside the tool from use. If you are cleaning the tool yourself, you should make sure the wires leading to the fan unit are not getting kinked or pinched during reassembly. Lastly, the tool needs a new spark unit. One way to test this out is to remove fuel and get ear close to rear of tool for a test shot. If you hear the click of the spark plug then the spark plug is fine and chances are that this tool needs to be cleaned.

Rotozip ZM3 Zipmate lock button is stuck in down slanted position. This is the 2nd one that this has happened. A home depot rental person took it apart and supposedly fixed it but when we tried it a
I know this is an old post but for those who have the problem now... This problem happens when you go to change the blade and the flange bolt is stuck. When you put a larger 5/8 wrench on the bolt, and push in the lock button, you ultimately put too much torque on the button and the plastic surrounding the lock button gives way and the whole button bends over. Merely disassembling the head and straightening the lock button does NOT fix the problem as now the surrounding plastic is deformed and the lock button will bend right back over. It happened to me. My fix is not for everyone. It involves removing the lock button, rebuilding and reinforcing the plastic area with JB Weld, and re-drilling the hole thru the JB for the button. You can't buy a new case half, so if you don't try this, just throw it away. It's a bad design.
Jorgensen #8024 is jamed in closed position, clamp
Use a small C clamp to hold the locking mechanism on the tail. Then slightly tap the tail or small C clamp with a hammer. That should work. I have had that happen before-- always store your clamps with some wiggle room on the tail by screwing in the tail piece at least a third.
