That really sound like bad batteries. You could try the new Lithium batteries, however this camera takes a proprietary battery, a CR-V3 - 1,400mAh, 3 volt battery and it is Lithium Ion. Yes, the CB-USB4 cable that comes packaged with the camera; is required for downloading images using the camera. The stock number for a replacement cable is 200 776.

My backup for my rechargeable batteries is the Maha Powerbank, which is a small portable battery which last four hours. To be honesty I have not fully used it seem have not gone throught my two four sets of rechargeable batteries in a days shooting, yet again it is my backup. It been review on this website.

my latch was broken at plastic not the door but on the camera. i drilled a very small hole in the door and then into the camera. i used one of the spare very small screws that came on my ring door bell and screwed the screw into the new hole .worked great

Olympus say the C-60 Zoom is not compatible with the 2GB xd card. Standard cards upto 512MB appear to be available online but not in high street stores.

I'd suggest cardboard and duct tape. The same happened to me. You can also try gluing small pieces of Velcro to fasten closed that way. To the best of my knowledge, that clip can't be replaced.

Your camera card reader may be damaged.This happens when card is damaged one or some piece from previous card remained in memory slot. Please take to camera technician. This is a precision job.

If those batteries are definitely good then the electronics of unit have gone haywire. Contact Olympus to see if there is some sort of hidden code to reset electronics to factory defaults.

Hi David,Check out the manual linked here. Scroll down the document to the bottom of page 34. Locate the section called "Exposure Compensation" and make adjustments as needed. This should solve the problem & good luck!
