I am getting a Reboot printer 006-335 message on my OKI B6300 printer.

Your error refers to the ROS motor in the laser unit. Now this means a new ROS Assy (Laser/Scanner) is needed, however if you are technically minded, remove the assy and open it. You will see a spinning mirror. Remove it and clean its shaft and oil with with a very very light oil (Model train oil). reassemble and clean the fixed and spinning mirrors, if it works great and if it does not get some money from the bank and by a new printer. The part number for the ROS is : 062K11210 good luck. Good luck

Error code 480 on my Oki C9655

480 is not listed in any OKI manual. However the closest to it refers to paper size mismatch. Check your driver setting especially paper size. If in UK make sure its set to A4. if in USA then yours is letter size.

Printing trouble, OKI microline 320 Turbo. All of a sudden it's not printing the right side of the invoice. I have no idea how to increase the printing area so this doesn't happen. Please help!

There are 3 competing controls. 1) Software 2) Printer driver 3) Front panel. Software control overrides printer driver. Printer driver overrides front panel. Your software settings therefore dominate. That said, you can choose to have the front panel settings "dominate." Those front panel settings may enable you to change margin widths. Even though this may be possible, you may well find the solution is within the invoice software's print setup where you may have to check some box to enable 11 inch printing or whatever is required. But that requires knowledge of the invoice software program. I am unable to determine if you are encountering a sudden failure of a system previously working. If this is a printer failure rather than a software configuration problem, you will have to check the okidata help. I have a OKI C710 printer that I bought from Radio Shack in Mayfield and they set it to just print in monochrome and I am wanting it to print in color again but don't know how to reset it back

They probably changed the setting in your operating system. Do you have windows or apple? Beyond that, do you recall if they made this change at the store on the printer itself, or were they tinkering with your PC when they made it monochrome?

Reset drum on oki c610

There's a small fuse in the drum that blows when it's first powered up after changing the drum. You can emulate a small fuse with an analog VOM set on Amps. With printer OFF, using a light wire like phone wire, connect the VOM to the drum terminals. When you power up, in a few seconds you'll see the VOM needle bounce one way or the other (doesn't matter). The moment you see that, pull the connection from the VOM. You've just impersonated a small fuse blowing. Here's an article on how to make that connection to the drum: http://www.fixya.com/support/t8952601-reset_drum_life_oki_c3400

On my oki 5150 the printed paper develops a crease

If the paper under the crease has print and the fold is "glued down", it is most likely to be a problem with the fuser. Try removing it and look for evidence of warping in the pressure roller. If the fuser looks clean and tidy, go to the other end at check over the paper tray and paper feed mechanisim. It is possible the paper is catching on something at the start of the process. This is most likely if there is print over the crease but not under the fold.

I have an OKI C3530 MFP that tells me to open the top cover due to a paper jam, but no paper anywhere. The machine was stopped in mid print and is now confused. Help!

Open the machine and remove the paper tray, the drum tray, the transfer belt and the fuser. Check all for a sheet or part sheet of paper. replace all and retry. If still register a paper jam have a look underneath to see if one of the paper pick up sensors is jammed open.

Hi, my Oki c5650 printer keeps

There is a sensor that detects the presence of the cartridge and also a chip reader attached to the LED scanners. First trick is to check the chip. Older machines often become less able to read after market chips. Locate the slot in the side of the cartridge at the end away from the locking mechanism. Carefully prise the cover off and slide out the RF chip inside the recess. Tape this on to the top of the cartridge directly above the recess. Put it back in the printer. and try it. This puts the chip closer to the chip reader and often fixes the recognition problem. A faulty sensor is more difficult to fix and would need a service technician who is more likely to recommend replacing the machine.
