If you plugged the replacement fan into the power supply instead of the "male plug on the mother board" you will get that error message. You need to find a fan that has the female plug for the mother board. It solved my problem.

I have the DV3-8000; the service menu can be accessed by holding down keys 1 and 3 simultaneously; there is an option to select either NTSC or PAL; my GUESS is select PAL; don't know if there is more to it than that, but this is a start . . .

Yes it does. and you can control up to 99 dvr's and control the settings as well. This model also has a self reconfig feature every time the ip address changes so you don't have to get a static ip address.

did u try using a cd cleaner the dvr only accepts cdr not dvd try using the usb port with a thumb drive to see what happens
