sometimes these will go into an automatic sleep mode and will restart once you power it down and restart..

you need to replace the hard drive.

Depending on how new the system is, you should check with either the store or the manufacturer, and see if it is still in warranty. If not, and you would like to replace the drive, open up the unit, and pull out the old drive, look up the model number online, and order the same model/type. seeing this is a newer model, I believe it will be a sata drive, unless they made their own special connector for their own devices.
