Samething with me. I have a mifi and it can connect to the playstation but cant sign in. It says it a DNS error. Which means one of your DNS numbers have blacked out and it can be fixed by getting knew dns numbers.

MASTER RESET INSTRUCTIONS:

The MiFi 2200 Device comes with a Master Reset button that allows you to return it to its factory default state.

The Master Reset button is recessed in a hold on the back of the device. You will need a paperclip or similar object to push the button.

? Make sure the MiFi Device is powered on.

? Locate the Master Reset button on the back of the device.

? Insert a paperclip into the hold and hold the button down for 5 seconds until the Power LED goes off.

Your list of wireless networks will now show the original default network when you first configured your device.

? Connect to MiFi Device again.

First:
In order to get your router back to the original settings, you must push in the reset button (usually on the back of the router) for somewhere between 10 and 30 seconds depending on the router. You may need a pin or something small to push in the button, because it can be recessed. Once you have reset the router, the username and password will be changed to the defaults, admin and password, respectively. One thing you must remember is that resetting the router will change all of the router settings back to the factory settings. This means you will lose all of the changes you made since you got the router. Make sure to write down any things you've changed, so you can change them back after the reset. Also, I recommend updating to the latest firmware after the reset.

well this might come off wrong but is it for your type of computer? if it is you should be calling cutomer support for that sevece

The MiFi is not meant to be cabled to your computer while in use. The manual says the cable is only for software updates and charging it when not in use. Just turn it on without the cable and the computer should detect it. Be aware that it takes a long time to boot up (maybe a minute or so) and that even when the little blue light comes on at the side of the device it can still be another 10-15 seconds before the computer will see it.

This hotspot has been recalled due to bad batteries so this is the first thing you should have checked. So i'm assuming that you took out the battery, tested it and it's ok - the voltage is above 3.7 volts. In that case you must do a very simple test: take out the sim and try to start it powered by the charger; wait 115 seconds, put the sim back in and try again: if it doesn't work then the device has failed. You will have to replace it, it can't be fixed.
